With a postgraduate degree and as a rank holder in Rhythmology from the University of Madras, Sairam is celebrated for his sensitive and harmonious accompaniment of vocalists and instrumentalists. With a career spanning over two decades, Sairam has graced countless stages worldwide, collaborating with eminent artists such as Flute Ramani, Bombay Jayashri Ramnath, Sudha Raghunathan, Ranjani Gayathri, and the emerging talents of the music world.
An International Ambassador of Rhythm
Sairam's rhythm has resonated globally, as he has toured the US, Canada, Abu Dhabi, Australia, Dubai, Sri Lanka, and more, performing at prestigious international festivals and venues.
A Mentor and Teacher
With a heart dedicated to nurturing talent, Sairam has mentored over 40 students from around the world, guiding them through the intricate world of percussion and helping them accomplish their Arangetram (maiden performance).
Contributing to Music Education
Sairam serves as a visiting faculty member at the Kalaikovil Academy of Fine Arts in Toronto, Canada, enriching the education of aspiring musicians.

His illustrious career is adorned with numerous accolades, including the prestigious "Kalaimamani" by the government of Tamil Nadu, the "Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar" from the Sangeet Natak Akademi, and the "Best Senior Mridangist" award from The Music Academy, Chennai.
