Within 5 months you would have covered the building blocks of Carnatic music starting with the Varisais, Alankarams, geethams and Swarajathi gearing you up to Varnam which is a vast subject in itself. So hop in and we will get you prepared from the start. Also, to those who have learnt this in the past but forgotten/out of touch - you can easily brush it up and strengthen your foundation. At Naadasamsthithi, we have tailored the basics course with much thought and have put together exercises that will help you as a student of music to hone your rhythm and strengthen your vocal cords with systematic voice culture. This will in turn, widen your ability to appreciate music better as a student, a rasika and pave the way for advancement into aspects of manodharma (creative aspect) of our music.
