Compositions of diverse composers

Indian music is rich because of the vast diversity in languages, composers, types of compositions that have made it an ocean. The chosen composers are mostly from the 16th and 17th centuries and their outpour of Bhakti is the most striking aspect in all of these compositions. These lilting melodies can touch the listener and the singer's heart alike - be it the Telugu compositions of Annnamacharya and Bhadrachala Ramadas, simple Sanskrit verse of Sadashiva Brahmendra, the playful Kannada devaranama of Purandaradasa or the evergreen bhajan of Meera Bai.
